High school Calculus tutor

Levels:High School

Subjects:Algebra, Calculus, Math

Description: I am currently a student at the University of Western Ontario studying actuarial sciences specializing in calculus and linear algebra. I have a profound knowlegde in all areas of mathematics and what seperates me from other tutors is that I am very easy to talk to and relate to as well. I have experience tutoring grade 10 and 11 mathematics.

My tutoring philosophy is centered on teaching the student how to do a set of problems using core mathematcial concepts rather then forcing them to memorize how to do the same problems. I believe once a student understands the core concepts of the subject they are taking, that subject will seem alot easier.
STEM tutoring (and also Cooking!)

Levels:Adult Education, Childhood Education, College / University, Elementary, High School

Subjects:AP, Algebra, AutoCAD, Calculus, Computer, Cooking, Differential Equations, Discrete Math, Geometry, Math, Mechanical Engineering, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Physics, Science, Soccer, Spelling, Study Skills, Technology, Trigonometry

Description: I am a Mechanical Engineerin in Training, currently working full time. I have a wide variety of skills and knowledge that I think I could share, including my passion for cooking.

Not really doing this for the money, my rate is flexible. I just want to share what I know.

I graduated from Waterloo University 2 years ago, and have been working locally since. With my background in Mechanical Engineering, I would be most able to help with physics and calculus courses, or anything math based.

Would be completely useless for biology and chemistry, unless you want me to yell at you to study more.

Anything math related for elementary school is something I should be able to handle with no issues.
