Tutor Index makes finding a tutor fast and easy.  Our interactive site lets you search for tutors across Canada by subject or geographic area.  There are five ways to search for a tutor on our site.  A description of each is listed below.

Header Search
Narrow your search by entering a particular subject area and/or postal code in the header at the top of the page.  After you have made your selection(s), click "Find" or hit the “Enter” button on your keyboard, and Tutor Index will display all of the tutors who match your search criteria.  The header search is the quickest way to find a tutor on Tutor Index.

Map / Area Search
Use the map on the Tutor Index home page to find a tutor in your area by clicking on any province.  Or select your province from the list underneath the map.  After you choose a province, select your city from the list on the next page.  Finally, choose a subject to see a list of relevant tutors in your selected location.

Subject Search 
From the Tutor Index home page, click on a subject hyperlink.  The next page lists specialties within that subject area.  Choose the appropriate specialty.  Next, select your province and city for a list of relevant tutors in your area.

Panel Advertisements
On the left and right panels of the website you will see colorful Panel Ads.  Click on these display ads to view a tutor’s profile page, Directory Listing or website, and find out more about the services they offer and where they are located.

Online Tutoring
For a list of online tutors, click on the “Online Tutoring” link in the header at the top of the page.  Select the appropriate subject for a list of online tutors in that subject area.
